Gringa Favorites: Prince Royce “Te Me Vas”
So apparently, I’m going through a bachata phase right now and that means all of you get constant recommendation of my current favorite canciones of the bachata persuasion. Last week it was Jesse y Joy’s official remix of their mega-hit, Corre, done to a bachata beat with the help of La Republika and this week, we have El principe de la bachata, Prince Royce with my new fave song “Te Me Vas.”
For some reason, I’m not hearing this song on the the radio as much, so I actually first heard “Te Me Vas” during my zumba class at the gym. It’s Miami, so we usually get some awesome música in our classes…but I was in a trance as we started doing a dance routine to this canción. The instructor even came over to me and asked if I was OK…because I’m pretty sure I was totally lost in the lyrics and just swaying back and forth instead of keeping up with the steps. That’s #GringaLife for ya!
